He's upset, rightfully so - but when Kotetsu's message comes along he welcomes the distraction, making his way to the observation deck with minimal complaints.
His face is masked carefully, expression set in a way that keeps anyone else from knowing just what's going on in his mind. Arcanine's resting in his pokeball; it's another way for the boy to keep the attention away from himself, just for today.
Kotetsu was right, however - it's impossible not to miss the giant legged shark to the side of the observation deck, and Green's eyes widen. He's trying to process what he's seeing; he notices Kotetsu moments later, but this shark...? -- before he finally moves, half-jogging up to the two of them. ]
Wanna explain why the CDC has something like this? [ There's definitely some kind of awe in his voice. ]
[ kotetsu doesn't really know what possessed him to take charge of not one, but two animals. the frostbrood hadn't been so bad, especially since he had the help of his friends and bahari, but why he's trying this with a landshark is really beyond him. the good thing is at least green is already here and doesn't look like he minds too much.
the bad thing is legend looks like he's about to jump on the landshark. sometimes the baby bahari can sure be tougher to handle. ]

He's not sure where to begin; he's never been a researcher, never plans to be one (hah), but hell if he doesn't find this interesting. ]
Huh. [ He crosses his arms, tilting his head to the side. ] So what're we supposed to do with the thing, anyway?
[ the landshark is still doing nothing, mostly staring at the two of them like it expects them to figure this all out. kotetsu does the same because he doesn't really know what else to do other than stare.

[ at least the bahari is small enough so that won't really be a problem. kotetsu focuses on the landshark in front of them and dangles the moose jerky like a carrot on a stick. it attracts its attention just fine, head turning to eye to piece of meat before attempting to get closer to it.
kotetsu takes that as his cue to start backing up. ]
I hope so. [ But that's what he leaves it, attention evenly split between making sure Arcanine doesn't decide to jump Kotetsu and making sure that the landshark doesn't try anything too out of the ordinary. Green considers recalling the canine back to his pokeball, but damage control might be necessary.
Besides, it looks like Arcanine's well-behaved enough to stick around. Small blessings. ]
Just keep going. [ Though -- yeah, there's a small flicker of a smile that appears on his lips for a second, only moving to follow right behind the giant beast once it starts to move. That way, Kotetsu has the front, Green has the back. Now if they can just keep this up, everything should be golden. ]
[ to anyone watching them, this might be a hilarious sight, but the fact that it's working has kotetsu going along with it. he tries to keep the shark's attention by clicking his tongue, waving the jerky around, and keeping it well in the creature's line of sight. they're out of the observation deck and into the halls.

[ Typically, Green isn't the type to get his hopes up unless he's certain that things will go well. But the simpleminded nature (?? probably) of the landshark, coupled with the relatively short distance to medical from where they are pretty much guarantees them a victory.
Well, at least until Kotetsu had to say that. ] Great, now you probably jinxed it.
[ Which means he's going to be particularly attentive to the giant beast's movements until he sees the doors to their destination (who knew this would actually work?). He only breathes a proper sigh of relief once the landshark's where it's supposed to be, resting his back against the walls in the hallway. ]
I don't know if this going so well was a good thing, or if it means something's going to be even harder later. [ Ever the optimist. ]
