yeah just pokemon hence the poke part in the pokeballs
theres different type of pokeballs that work in different situations but you need to understand that none of them can capture a wild pokemon without fail

usually you use one of your pokemon to weaken the wild one and then capture it with a pokeball but the stronger the pokemon is the less likely theyll stay in the pokeball long enough to be captured
regular pokeballs cant hold stronger pokemon and it makes legendary pokemon impossible to capture basically

a master ball never fails in comparison you can capture anything with it and the pokemon will listen to you

they respect you enough to work with you its up to you to befriend them and gain their trust
at the same time if youre given a pokemon by someone else and theyre too strong for you they wont listen
